CapivaraOS Herd: the next capivara is built for servers
CapivaraOS started as a desktop project — and it keeps growing there. But a question kept coming up: what about servers?
We're working on CapivaraOS Herd, our next distribution. Built for people who want to run a home server, self-host their own services, or manage infrastructure on a solid, well-maintained Fedora base.
Herd will follow the same philosophy as the other spins: no bloat, focused on what matters, with its own identity. Except instead of a desktop environment, the stage is the terminal — and the audience is different: sysadmins, homelab enthusiasts, and anyone who simply prefers to control what runs on their own machine.
